...is a system of turning inwards and using various techniques to achieve calmness, stillness and peace of mind.

MeditationThere are many different meditation techniques, the most common focussing on a particular object like the breath or a mantra. Other meditations focus on visualisation or mantra.

Most meditation techniques involve turning away from worldly things and discovering an inner world of quiet contemplation and peace.

In Transformational Yoga, the student begins by becoming very relaxed and it is from this relaxed meditative state that they enter the postures.

From this place, anything is possible.
